ALL ABOUT VIOLET

This is my beautiful niece Violet Reese.  She is 8 weeks old, and being the only granddaughter in the family she is treated as an absolute princess!!

Violet and Veronica like to play dress up together and be twins.

Don't mind Violet's bug eyes, we aren't sure where they came from.

Violet and Veronica are the best of friends.

Veronica loves to give her baby sister kisses!...Sorry to those of you who are not as animal-obsessed as my family and I are..but since my family is the only ones who look at my blog I figured I'd be safe to post these pictures.

I am her favorite aunt and she is my favorite niece!...seriously, she told me.

Here's V sporting the leopard boots I bought for her.  She is so spoiled I get jealous.

Violet's very first best friend: Mallory.  This is their first play date and cute baby Mallory reached out to grab her hand.  They are too cute..and Violet and Mallory aren't bad either!

Violet's very first boyfriend: Quinn.  He is our friend's new baby boy and was born the day after V, they were destined to be together!  Quinn lives in Utah so for now their only means of communication is Ichat.  We love internet Quinn but can't wait to meet him in the flesh!

These are just a few of my favorite pictures of Violet.  It would take HOURS to post all the cute pictures I have of the little princess, so this will have to do.  I also have 2 beautiful nephews, and 1 more on the way so I will make a special blog for them-my lack of blogging experience limits me to 1 blog a day, if I'm feeling up to the challenge!

P.S. Violet right now is in the other room crying when she's supposed to be taking a nap...we may treat her as a princess but she sure doesn't always act like one!  She's just lucky she's so cute...
Stay posted.

My First Blog!

For all you experienced bloggers out there, forgive me for my amateurism. I decided to make my first blog simple, and the only exciting thing that happened lately is that my good friend Chad Hansen came home from his mission in Tucson, Arizona! It has been a long two years, and now he's finally back. I thought it would be so great, that he would be so different and spiritual...but then reality hit.

TAKE 1: Chad had to make this face...it shouldn't have surprised me since he makes ugly faces in every picture he takes-including his family photos (Lynda is not very happy about this).

TAKE 2: We move over to the "Welcome Home Chad" sign with hopes of getting him to behave for at least one picture...no such luck.

TAKE 3: FINALLY after a lot of hitting, yelling, and pleading from his mom and I, we convince him to behave for 5 seconds.

Despite his very annoying habits, I am very excited to have Chaddy back home!

x0x0, Gossip Girl.
Oops, I mean Claire.

P.S. This stupid, lame, unimpressive blog took me a freaken hour to finish. I'm not so sure I can make it in the blogging world. I feel like a grandma trying to text message.
